Can leaks be stopped without shutting down operations?
We perform emergency sealing of pressurized, operational pipelines without shutdown, followed by permanent reinforcement with composites.
This is a method for repairing pressurized pipelines with fluid leaks without line shutdown. There are two methods — (1) instantaneous sealing with mechanical bands/clamps, followed by permanent reinforcement with composite overlap, and (2) direct sealing with epoxy putty and reinforcement tape while under pressure. It addresses active leaks such as pinholes, cracks, and threaded connection leaks.
What partner products do we utilize?
We utilize CSNRI Leak Stopper, Composite Clamp, TridentSeal, Loctite PC 5070 Pro, and similar products.
- CSNRI Leak Stopper — Temporary sealing within seconds using a serrated band, followed by permanent restoration with composites.
- CSNRI Composite Clamp (seals up to 250psi under pressure), TridentSeal (permanent repair for active leaks in gas pipelines).
- Loctite PC 5070 Pro Pipe Repair Kit — Repairs cracks, pinholes, and threaded connection leaks under pressure (NSF 61 and BS 6920 potable water certified).
※ Loctite PC 5085 is used for composite wrapping, and Loctite PC 5070 Pro is used for online (pressurized) leak repair.
