SOL-GEL Nanocoating Technology (PREMERA)
PREMERA: Crystal Crystallization Surface Strengthening with SOL-GEL and Nanotechnology
PREMERA Premium Coating Technology utilizes silica (SiO₂) sol that crystallizes into a gel, densifying and strengthening concrete surfaces. A key feature is its grind-free and dust-free application.
What is SOL-GEL Nanocoating?
This is a premium coating technology where silica (SiO₂) sol crystallizes into a gel, densifying and strengthening concrete surfaces.
PREMERA is a PREMIUM series product among the four major product lines of NUKOTE, USA, and is a coating material applied with SOL-GEL and nano (ceramic·quartz/silica SiO₂) technology. Silica sol fills the micro-pores in the concrete surface layer, reacts, and crystallizes, densifying and hardening the surface, forming a clear, hard inorganic protective layer like crystal.
How is it different from traditional epoxy and urethane?
It chemically fuses without grinding the substrate, resulting in no grinding and no dust, which significantly shortens the construction period.
Our flagship products, Crystal Densifier and T2 MCM, chemically fuse with the surface without grinding the substrate and are self-leveling. Reduced pre-treatment and dust lead to shorter construction periods, and their inorganic properties provide stain resistance, water repellency, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and impermeability. Our company profile introduces a case study where coating a metal parts factory floor without polishing reduced the delivery time by 50%.
What products are available and where are they applied?
Product lines for floor polishing, surface protection, industrial chemical resistance, and structural repair are applied to concrete floors and facilities.
- Floor Polishing — Crystal Densifier, T2 MCM (Matte/Gloss), etc.
- Surface Protection — T9 V (for vinyl flooring), etc.
- Industrial Chemical Resistance — Chemshield (Ceramic+Polymer Composite), etc.
- Structural Repair — MI SEAL (New/Old Concrete Bonding), SCI (Crack Injection), etc.
It is applied to building floors, exposed concrete strengthening, dust suppression, and stain prevention, specialized floors for food and chemical factories, logistics centers, and parking lots, and surface protection for industrial facilities.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the differences between SIPP, CIPP, and PVC lining methods?
CIPP is a cured-in-place method for large pipes, SIPP is a spray-in-place method for small pipes, and PVC lining involves adhering an internal sheet. While most companies specialize in only one rehabilitation method, HIGHCOATIC can handle all three, allowing us to select the optimal method tailored to specific site conditions.
What is polyurea?
It is an elastic coating material developed by Texaco in the early 1980s in the United States. It boasts an elongation of over 400%, concrete adhesion of over 3.0 N/mm², and heat resistance of 120°C for gases and 85°C for liquids. It is widely used for waterproofing, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and corrosion protection.
Do you hold environmental certifications?
All products have received eco-friendly certification for use in drinking water and food facilities. They contain 0% volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and have completed certification for use in drinking water and food facilities from relevant authorities in the US, Singapore, Canada, China, and other countries. Additionally, they hold ASTM E84 Class 1 flame spread certification.
What is HIGHCOATIC's relationship with NUKOTE?
HIGHCOATIC is the exclusive distributor of NUKOTE in South Korea. NUKOTE is an industrial protective coating manufacturer headquartered in Texas, USA, supplying over 140 countries worldwide and boasting a product lineup of over 80 types.
How can I request a quote?
