CIPP Packer Sectional Repair (Coming Soon)

Inflatable packer + short liner for localized repair of joints and cracks (to be introduced)

This trenchless method utilizes an inflatable packer and a short liner to repair localized damage, such as joint leaks and cracks. HIGHCOATIC plans to adopt this technology.

Note: HIGHCOATIC will soon introduce CIPP packer equipment. This page provides an overview of the technology to be introduced.

What is CIPP Packer Spot Repair?

It is a trenchless spot repair method where a resin-impregnated liner is wrapped around an inflatable rubber packer to repair only the damaged section.

Instead of rehabilitating the entire pipeline, only localized damage such as cracks, joint leakage, or partial corrosion is repaired with a short liner. A resin-impregnated fiberglass liner is wrapped around an inflatable packer (airbag) and inserted into the pipe. At the damaged section, the packer is inflated with air pressure to press the liner tightly against the pipe wall, then cured to form a seamless reinforcing layer.

What is the Installation Process?

The process proceeds in the following order: CCTV Inspection โ†’ Cleaning โ†’ Liner Installation โ†’ Pulling & Inflation โ†’ Curing โ†’ Post-Inspection.

  • CCTV pre-inspection to identify damage location and extent
  • Pipe cleaning and pre-treatment
  • Mounting the resin-impregnated fiberglass liner onto the packer
  • Pulling to the damaged section, then inflating the packer to press the liner tightly
  • After curing, packer deflation and retrieval, CCTV post-inspection

What Types of Damage Are Suitable, and Which Are Not?

Suitable for joint leakage, localized cracks, and partial corrosion, but unsuitable for severe misalignment, complete collapse, or longitudinal cracks.

Severely misaligned pipes, completely collapsed pipelines, and longitudinal (lengthwise) cracks at connections require full rehabilitation (SIPP/CIPP) instead of spot repair.

The equipment and performance information for this method is based on reference technical data from global partners such as Trelleborg (epros), and does not represent HIGHCOATIC's own equipment or installation track record. Once the introduction is confirmed, we will provide updated information with precise equipment specifications. For preliminary consultation, please contact us via quotation inquiry or ChannelTalk.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the differences between SIPP, CIPP, and PVC lining methods?

CIPP is a cured-in-place method for large pipes, SIPP is a spray-in-place method for small pipes, and PVC lining involves adhering an internal sheet. While most companies specialize in only one rehabilitation method, HIGHCOATIC can handle all three, allowing us to select the optimal method tailored to specific site conditions.

What is polyurea?

It is an elastic coating material developed by Texaco in the early 1980s in the United States. It boasts an elongation of over 400%, concrete adhesion of over 3.0 N/mmยฒ, and heat resistance of 120ยฐC for gases and 85ยฐC for liquids. It is widely used for waterproofing, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and corrosion protection.

Do you hold environmental certifications?

All products have received eco-friendly certification for use in drinking water and food facilities. They contain 0% volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and have completed certification for use in drinking water and food facilities from relevant authorities in the US, Singapore, Canada, China, and other countries. Additionally, they hold ASTM E84 Class 1 flame spread certification.

What is HIGHCOATIC's relationship with NUKOTE?

HIGHCOATIC is the exclusive distributor of NUKOTE in South Korea. NUKOTE is an industrial protective coating manufacturer headquartered in Texas, USA, supplying over 140 countries worldwide and boasting a product lineup of over 80 types.

How can I request a quote?
