Cleanrooms housing semiconductor manufacturing process equipment — Industrial facilities in high-concentration chemical environments requiring corrosion protection coating
Semiconductor process lines operate in high-purity, high-concentration chemical environments. Equipment corrosion and pipe leaks lead to line stoppages.

Why is special lining needed for reservoirs, wastewater treatment plants, and water tanks?

Chemical-resistant and potable water certified polyurea lining is required due to corrosion, leakage, and drinking water safety issues.

Reservoirs, cutoff walls, dams, service reservoirs, and wastewater, chemical, and pharmaceutical storage tanks are constantly exposed to chemicals and moisture, leading to corrosion and leakage. FRP and epoxy linings frequently suffer from aging defects. By lining the interior and exterior of tanks with chemical-resistant polyurea, perfect waterproofing and corrosion prevention can be secured, and potable water certified products are also applied to public water supply and drinking water facilities.

What facilities is it applied to?

It is applied to reservoirs, cutoff walls, dams, service reservoirs, and wastewater and chemical tanks that require perfect waterproofing.

  • Facilities requiring perfect waterproofing, such as reservoirs, cutoff walls, dams, and service reservoirs
  • Wastewater treatment plants, and interior/exterior lining of wastewater, chemical, and pharmaceutical storage tanks
  • Special waterproofing for secondary containment around tanks at petrochemical plants

Are there real-world application examples?

We have a track record domestically and internationally, including Samsung Biologics, a wastewater treatment plant in Chile, and a reservoir in Algeria.

We have a track record including maintenance of wastewater and chemical pipelines at Samsung Biologics, waterproofing of wastewater cutoff walls at an overseas wastewater treatment plant in Chile, containment lining for a reservoir in Algeria, and olefin tank lining in Saudi Arabia. Frequently Asked Questions

What are the differences between SIPP, CIPP, and PVC lining methods?

CIPP is a cured-in-place method for large pipes, SIPP is a spray-in-place method for small pipes, and PVC lining involves adhering an internal sheet. While most companies specialize in only one rehabilitation method, HIGHCOATIC can handle all three, allowing us to select the optimal method tailored to specific site conditions.

What is polyurea?

It is an elastic coating material developed by Texaco in the early 1980s in the United States. It boasts an elongation of over 400%, concrete adhesion of over 3.0 N/mm², and heat resistance of 120°C for gases and 85°C for liquids. It is widely used for waterproofing, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and corrosion protection.

Do you hold environmental certifications?

All products have received eco-friendly certification for use in drinking water and food facilities. They contain 0% volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and have completed certification for use in drinking water and food facilities from relevant authorities in the US, Singapore, Canada, China, and other countries. Additionally, they hold ASTM E84 Class 1 flame spread certification.

What is HIGHCOATIC's relationship with NUKOTE?

HIGHCOATIC is the exclusive distributor of NUKOTE in South Korea. NUKOTE is an industrial protective coating manufacturer headquartered in Texas, USA, supplying over 140 countries worldwide and boasting a product lineup of over 80 types.
