LOCTITE is an industrial adhesive and repair brand of Henkel, a global chemical and material company. It supplies composite wrapping and emergency leak repair product lines that repair corrosion, wall thinning, and leaks in industrial pipes and facilities without welding or replacement, and related products are designed according to international standards such as ISO/TS 24817.

Relationship with HIGHCOATIC

HIGHCOATIC uses LOCTITE products as global partner products for composite wrapping and online (in-service) emergency leak repair methods. These products are manufactured by Henkel and are not manufactured by HIGHCOATIC itself.

Composite Wrapping System

• LOCTITE PC 5085 — Composite wrapping tape composed of multi-axial, multi-layered glass and carbon fibers (for reinforcing corroded/wall-thinned pipes and tanks)
• LOCTITE PC 7210 / PC 7211 — Two-component epoxy resin used in combination with PC 5085

The PC 5085 composite system, based on ISO/TS 24817 certification, is used for strength restoration and corrosion/chemical resistance protection of corroded and wall-thinned pipes and structures.

Pressurized Leak Repair Kit

• LOCTITE PC 5070 Pro — A kit for repairing cracks, pinholes, and threaded leaks in operating (pressurized) conditions without shutdown (Components: EA 3463 Epoxy Putty + PC 5070 Tape + Syntho-Glass B)

According to manufacturer data, PC 5070 Pro is applied with the line pressure reduced to approximately 60psi (4.1bar) during installation, withstands up to 300psi after curing, and boasts a temperature range of approximately -50~250°F, NSF 61 and BS 6920 potable water certifications, and no hot work requirement.
